Nice Thing To Say To A Homeless Person

  1. I write this note as a token of appreciation for your positive attitude. I hope you find the money that you need.
  2. This is a nice thing that you did. You are a good person. Thank you for trying to help our community.
  3. Hello! I just happened to see you there and wanted to say Hello. It’s so nice to meet someone who appreciates the things around them. I was about your age when I became homeless myself. I was living on the street and in shelters, too, but now, years later, I am stable and happy. To me, someone who appreciates the things around them is one of the most beautiful things about life. There is so much beauty if you look for it!
  4. Hey, how are you doing? I saw your sign and wanted to stop by and say hi. Hope your day is going well. Peace!
  5. Hey man, have some cofee and cake! You’re going to need it.
  6. I know it isn’t very fashionable these days, but I would like to buy you a burger. It is cold out today and you look very hungry. You seem so sad and out of place so I would do everything in my power to make you some lunch.
  7. I hope you’re doing okay out here friend. I’ll make sure there are plenty of blankets and food for you as long as I can. You’re a good man and I’ll miss you should you ever move on.
  8. This is a very sad situation, you must not have any food/water and the cold could be brutal. I really worry about you and hope you find a warm place to sleep tonight.
  9. I saw you sleeping outside and thought of how cold the night is getting, so I bought you this blanket. I hope it helps keep you warm. Don’t forget nights can be a little chilly.
  10. Hey there. Are you okay? Can I buy you something to eat?
  11. I wish you a Happy Holidays, and may your Christmas be full of peace and joy.
  12. Hey, how are you? I bet you would love to get a nice warm bed for tonight. Hey here is a fiver, that should cover the cost of a bed, and you should take these blankets with you. Good luck!
  13. Hey there, what’s up? May I give you some change today? I don’t see you around much and I wanted to check in on you. Here’s some money for lunch. Much appreciated, have a good one!
  14. Hi, I saw you sleeping under the bridge last night. I saw how close you are to giving up and there was something about you that inspired me to give you this. It’s a full stomach, some warm cloths, and advice. Take it if you need it!
  15. Hi, I saw that you had some food, scotch, and cigarettes. Do you need some money for a xmas gift? I will buy you a beer.
  16. Oh, you’re homeless. Here, have a couple dollars for a hot meal. And then some more for crack and beer. And then a few more for a shower and some clothes. Some more for drugs and booze and threesomes, but I don’t know what happened to them… And just so we’re clear: beds aren’t free.
  17. Hi there! We passed each other and my fingers fell into the lines. I hope everything is alright for you, because you are in our thoughts. Thanks so much for your time.
  18. I saw you today and I realized that the reason I am so successful is because you are what helps me grow. I hope your day got better and that we can meet up again soon. Thanks for everything.
  19. You don’t look homeless and everything you have is in a bag. I wish I could give you a little bit of what you have. Hopefully, one day things will change for the better.
  20. Thank you for being out here. This is a nice town and I wish your situation wasn’t what it is.
  21. I hate how much people talk about how homeless people are a nuisance and need to go to help them. I don’t think that at all. They re just people with no place to live. They are not asking for money, they just need a little help and wanting to be there is not wrong in my book.
  22. We just read your story online and wanted to let you know that we think it’s amazing and inspirational. I hope you’re doing well. Please stay strong! I hope there are people out there willing to help.
  23. I have been a bit lost lately and someone on the street pointed me in your direction. May I borrow your coat for a minute? I believe it is cold outside so would you put it on? Thank you very much and I hope things get better for you. Big heart.
  24. Hey, man! How are you doing? I’m glad to see you’re out here and thriving. I hope you don’t mind me asking how are you doing?
  25. Hey there. I don’t know if you’re really cold, or if you just like being out in the cold. Maybe you always wait for me to come by and get you some warm coffee. I love it when we talk and it’s hard to put into words how much I appreciate your knowledge and friendship. Hope you know that we have really great chats, even when I’m not super-needy or excited about anything. You always make me smile.
  26. Hey there, thanks for taking the time to spend your day sleeping on the street. I want you to know that I appreciate all the things you do for me and my family and i hope you live a long full life.
  27. I was thinking about the homeless person I see everyday on the news, and I realized they have everything. Food, shelter, and a lot better life than most people…there’s no reason for them to be living on the street. I wish I could do something to make their lives better.
  28. I saw the homeless man with his sign out here in town, pleading for help. I gave him a dollar to make sure he can get something to eat tonight. You’re not a bad person because of the way you live. Good people do good things and it’s OK to be good from time to time. We all need a little help sometimes!
  29. Have a nice day, have a nice life. Well I don’t know what that means I guess it’s just something you say to someone on the streets… You have a long road ahead of you. It is hard to get by in these times, but I know you will find your way.
  30. You are so beautiful. Please, I don’t want you to be cold tonight. I will build a huge fire for you and we will stay warm together.
  31. Hey, you’ve been sleeping in a nice warm park for years. How long have you been homeless and how did you get it so bad? You really should go see doctor about the sleeping habits. I just wanted to suggest that there are some people out there who would be willing to let you live in their home or donate money to help pay for your rent.
  32. Hello, my name is Amy and I live in a very nice neighborhood, it’s nice around here, we just found out there are homeless people nearby. I would like to donate some chocolate for them.
  33. It’s really chilly outside and I know you need some money. How about I give you $20? And another $20 on Friday? Sure that’s no problem!
  34. I noticed you are homeless and thought I should bring you something. Please accept this bag of soup because I care. Not everyone is awesome like you! Thank you for spending your time here on the streets.
  35. I’m sorry to hear you are homeless, I wish you could use this card to get a meal at a local homeless shelter and show you are not forgotten. I would love to help you out somehow!
  36. I’m sorry you are homeless and wish there was more I could do to help you, but all I can do is give you this random dollar.
  37. I just wanted to let you know – I still love you! Only a person with a heart as big as yours could love me this much. I hope things get better for you soon!
  38. I hope you have a nice night tonight, and a good morning tomorrow. You are always welcome to pass by here from now on.
  39. I thought it was so thoughtful of you to clean up the area and make it habitable. You do a tremendous service for the community.
  40. Wow, I’ve never seen a homeless person before. It’s like they stepped right out of the pages of the dictionary. I can’t believe you don’t have a house and car. It seems crazy! But, I’m glad you don’t have those things because then people wouldn’t be able to know you exist. I think you should definitely stay with us at our new home. We could give you a nice dinner and send you on your merry way!
  41. Hey man, it’s freezing out here and I’ve got a few bucks for you. If you need some shopping money you can have this…Happy RX!
  42. Hi, I know it’s kind of cold out here but lets put that mug up and try to make it home together.
  43. Hey there! How’s it going? Hope you’re all doing great, I hope you find a home this winter. You’re very beautiful and I hope your day is better than the last.
  44. Hey, how are you doing? I was wondering if you were hungry. That’s great! Please come sit down at my table where I have some bread and water to share with you.
  45. Hi, my name is Luke and I’ve noticed that you’re sitting out here by the street with nothing in your hands and you look hungry. Just let me know when I can give you some food. Here’s a dollar.”
  46. Here’s a bottle of wine for you. I hope you will appreciate it. Thanks For Listening To My Story!
  47. You are so pretty. I don’t want to lose you. I’ve been seeing you for a while, you aren’t a stranger anymore.
  48. Thank you for providing for your family this winter. I appreciate your hard work and perseverance.
  49. Do you need a little help? It’s cold outside and I’d like to give you a warm coat. Or maybe some gloves, or something to deal with that poverty. I’m a little worried about how many people are out there on the streets on such a cold night.
  50. I saw you drop this coin there and I wanted to say you were right to give it back. It’s a great coin, and I yell at people for dropping money too much.
  51. Hey man, it’s nice to see someone in the streets that isn’t looking for drugs or money. I know we were on the same “band wagon” before, but trust me, this time it’s different. It’s so nice to see that I can still hang out with my old friends who are trying to change their lives around. Thanks for stopping by!
  52. ” I really like the tie you are wearing. Usually homeless people only wear rags.”
  53. I’m very sorry that you are out on the street during such a cold night, but I want you to know that we are here for you.
  54. Hey guy! Bless your soul with this box of doughnuts, you look very nice today! Have a great day.
  55. Do you sleep outside in near freezing weather? If so, I really wish I could give you a blanket. However, I don’t have one that small, but if you know of something I can give you instead (coffee is always nice), that would be great.
